MRS. ALLEN'S SCHOOL

I had some books to donate to Mrs. Allen's school, so I drove them over there.  On the way down the stairs I stopped to take this photo.  Somehow it would feed my soul to be able to walk up these warm, creeky oak stairs every morning with this beautiful window lighting the way.

Isn't there something so nice about wood? I was mentioning to the new second grade teacher that he would have the nicest desks next year. He completely did NOT understand why I love the desks I have--which are wood instead of plastic.

(Lovely picture, too!)

Beautiful photo!

I love old buildings and stained glass windows. I feel such a sense of history when surrounded by aged wood, and a sense of hope when you see the sunlight filtered by colored glass.
